1927-2020 ~ Fern Odessa Parker, of Rimbey, Alberta, passed away peacefully at Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday December 12, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Fern was born in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. She met and married Samuel Edwin Parker and together they moved to Alberta. Fern was active in the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Legion and many volunteer positions throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel, and her parents, Nina and Manus DesChamp.
Fern is survived by her children; Sharon (Robert) Griffith, Donna (David) McAra, Brian (Brenda) Parker, Wayne (Celia) Parker.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, brother George Hemeon, Sister Ruth Richard and special friend Norm Cooper.
Because of COVID restrictions we are having a private family memorial at a later date.
Donations may be made in Fern's name to the Children's Burn Unit, Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre.
