FILEWICH Mr. Michael (Mike) Filewich of Breton, Alberta passed away in the Rimbey Hospital & Care Centre on Friday April 24, 2009 at the age of 63 years. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Lena as well as by two sisters, Ann Anderson and Mary and one sister-in-law; Jean Filewich, Mike is survived by his loving wife Wendy of thirty three years, two sons; Michael of Drayton Valley, Trevor (Sheila Glymm) of Breton, and one grandson Braydan Filewich. Mike also leaves to mourn two brothers; Steven of Okotoks, Julian of Calgary, two sisters; Lena (Gary) Prout of Nanaimo, British Columbia and Stella (Greg) Dixon of Drayton Valley, and a brother-in-law; Dave Anderson of Saskatoon, and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A celebration of Mike's life was held from the Breton Community Centre on Wednesday April 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeanette Engblom officiating. Cremation has taken place at Wilson's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium Lacombe, Alberta.
