KING, Florence Wilma Mrs. Florence Wilma King (Clemont), beloved wife of Lloyd King passed away Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the age of 69 years. Florence was born in Rocky Mountain House on March 11, 1935. She lived in Rocky Mountain House are until she was 13 years old when she moved with her father and step-mother to Parsons, B.C. From there the family moved to Kamloops. On a visit to her sister Irene in Rocky Mountain House, she met Lloyd King who was the younger brother of Irene's husband, Pat King. Lloyd and Florence were married on October 9, 1954 at Kamloops, B.C. They recently celebreated their 50th Anniversary, with every family member in attendance. During the fifty years of their marriage, their loyalty and support, through the good times and bad, were a testament of their devotion to each other. Florence is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd and children Karen (Phil) Paquette, Barb (Barry) Ahearn, Alan (Terry) King, Patty (Colin) Laiss and Darren (Wende) King. Also by her precious grandchildren Rhonda and Ryan (Vanessa) Paquette, Mitchell (Teagan) and Roxanne Ahearn, Dallas (Chelsea), Morgan and Graham King, Stephanie (Carson), Brandon and Caitlin Laiss and Megan, Michelle and Matthew King and great granddaughters Julie and Jenna Paquette, three sisters, Clara (Ken) Thompson, Maisie Cropley, and Adeline Georglin, and numerous nieces, nephew, in-laws and many friends. Florence was predeceased by her parents, her granddaughter Darian King, sisters Irene Philips and Peggy MacDivitt, brother Fred Clemont, two nephews, and several sisters and brothers-in-law. Funeral services for the late Florence King will be held at the Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 1:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or the Red Deer Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit #32.
