APPLEBY, Frances
Frances Appleby passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on July 13th, 2017 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. She suffered a stroke on May 1st and remained in hospital until her passing.
Frances was born on June 15th, 1934 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and resided in nearby Pinkham until moving to Red Deer with her family in 1971. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph, her 2 sons, Floyd (Carol) and David (Lynnette), and her granddaughter Stacey.
Fran loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed travelling, reading, quilting, cooking, playing with her cat, and watching her granddaughter grow. Fran will be greatly missed by her immediate and extended families, friends, and her care workers, especially Shannon, who cared for Fran and Ralph over the past 5 years.
