Frances Versluis of Red Deer, AB passed away on November 4, 2014 at the age of 61. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Marinus Versluis; two sons James, and Steven (Patricia); two daughters, Tamara (Richard) Walker and Wendy (Trevor) Elgersma and 5 grandchildren Zackary, Brody, Tristen, Kassandra and Abigail. Frances was a long time resident of Red Deer and proud owner of a local Dutch Store called Otherlands Imports. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff, doctors and volunteers at the Red Deer Hospice and Unit 32 of the Red Deer Hospital. Services will be held at the Parkland United Reformed Church of Ponoka County, located at the cross section of Hwy 2a and Spruce Road, just north of Morningside on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society.
