FRANCZAK, 1916- 2007 Mrs. Helen Ann Franczak of Red Deer, passed away at the Valley Park Manor Nursing Home, on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Helen was born on October 1, 1916 at Detroit, Michigan. She was a very easy going person, who invited people into her home all the time. Helen enjoyed gardening, working on her crochet projects, cooking, baking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of Sacred Heart's Parish. Helen is survived by three sons, Ed (Ruby) Franczak of Calgary, Alberta, Joe (Charliene) Franczak, Rudy (Neveda) Franczak both of Evergreen Area, Alberta, a brother, Stan (Mary) Marcinek of Condor, Alberta, eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, a son, Stan, daughter-in-law, Lyla, three brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508-48a Avenue, Red Deer on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Red Deer Cemetery.
