MATHEW, Frank Arthur, Frank Arthur Mathew passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 6, 2004 at the age of 66 years. Frank is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Sharon, of 45 years, his son, Dwayne (Brenda), his daughter Laurel, and his favorite grandson and fishing buddy, Scott. Frank is also survived by his two sisters, Lorely (Ben) Boutin and Marcia Clarke, his sister-in-law Betty (Peter) Hackman and brother-in-law Don (Sharon) Hannah as well as his nieces and nephews. Three years ago, Frank reluctantly retired from his trucking and bobcat business due to health reasons. Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Sylvan Lake Fish & Wildlife. He also served as a member Sylvan Lake's COP program as well as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212. Frank proudly renewed his faith with the Lord and was recently baptized at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sylvan Lake. Frank spent his last summer on his deck enjoying the calm of the water, the ducks and geese, the wildlife on the lake, and spending time with his family and friends. We will miss you so much Frankie. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sylvan Lake on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bob Wilson officiating, tea to follow. Family service will be held at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta Lung Association, or Canadian Diabetes Association.
