BERTRAM Freda Lydia 1913 - 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Freda Lydia Bertram announce her passing the evening of Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 95 1/2 years. Freda and Ray were married 60 years at the time of his passing June 23, 2002. They moved to their farm in the Poplar Ridge Community west of Red Deer in March, 1948 and both enjoyed a variety of community activities for many years. Prior to living at the Red Deer Nursing Home for the past 3 years, Freda lived at the Sylvan Lake Lodge. Freda leaves to mourn her passing, daughter Carol (Bob) Cunningham, their sons, Timothy and Kelly, daughter Darleen (Allan) Nielsen and their children, Jacquelynn (Nathan), their twins, Addison and Nicholas, Jeffery (Jennifer), their children, Branca, Arianna and Marek, Andrea (Rylan), their daughter Emeline, and Amy, grandson, Leslie Paul (Barbara's son), sister, Lee and brother, Norman (Agnes) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Freda was predeceased by Raymond, and by her son, Dorian (1972) and daughter, Barbara (1989) as well as parents and several brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Freda's life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with The Reverend John Yoos (long time friend of Ray and Freda) officiating. Interment will follow in the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
