CURR, Frederick Richard

God called Fred home Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the morning with his loving wife by his side going quickly, quietly, peacefully, with no complaints or objections.

Fred is lovingly remembered by his best girl of 26 years, Marie; sisters, Jeannie Nachai, Marie (Harry) Maynard and Sylvia Parker; stepsister, Laura Petryshyn; brothers, Ed (Donna) Parker, Ron (Laverne) Parker and Norm (Sharon) Parker; his loving daughters, Karen (Jamie) Pilkey, Patricia (Darwin) Draper, and Bonnie (Lorin) Rattai; stepdaughters, Lisa (Doug) Baltimore and Jodi Wetter; stepson, John (Giovanna) Gerencser, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Ty (Angela) Pilkey, Hayden, Ashton and Riley Pilkey, Brady and Dustin Bakke, Shaye McCutcheon, Jasper and Jaycee Rattai, Danielle (Matt) Easton, Kyle Baltimore, and Eden Wetter.

Fred was pre-deceased by his adoptive parents, Janet and Sandy Curr; stepbrother, Johnny Curr; and birth parents, Grace and Albert Parker.

Fred loved his job at Border Paving and thoroughly enjoyed time spent with coworkers and countless friends but more than that, Fred was especially proud of all of his lovely girls, their families, and especially his grandkids. Fred never missed an opportunity to brag on their many and varied accomplishments.... Fred loved camping and traveling with Marie and usually worked in visits with family and friends along the way.

Fred has moved on to take on his new role and invites his many, many friends and family members to gather for refreshments and fellowship (ie: BS) at the Trailblazer Room, Main Pavilion, Westerner Park, 4847A - 19 Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association and/or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
