BEIERLE, Freida With great sadness the FREIDA BEIERLE family announces that very peacefully, in her sleep with family at her side, Freida passed away at the St. MaryÃs Health Care Centre on October 26, 2004 at the age of 89 years. She was born in the Torrington-Olds area (May City) on October 5, 1915. Freida joined the Trochu community at the age of 3 years old when her dad John bought a farm four miles west of Trochu. She married Mr. Frederick Beierle in the fall of 1949. They resided at the East Coulee Coal Mine until they moved the house that they built to the original ìENZIEî place which Fred bought and resided there until 2000. Due to failing health and years they moved to Trochu where she resided until her passing. Freida was always happiest gardening, working in the yard, and most of all spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and visiting with family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her. Freida wll be sadly missed by her two children: Lorraine (Lloyd) Hagen of Drayton Valley, Alberta, and Doug (Rhoda) Beierle of Trochu; six grandchildren: Connie (Ken) Dusterhoft of Drayton Valley, Dave (Sandi) Hagen of Stettler, Debbie (Dave) Dusterhoft of Drayton Valley, Donald (Jockey) of Edmonton, Matthew Beierle of Innisfail, and Michael Beierle of Trochu; as well as 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews along with countless friends. Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Trochu Baptist Church Fellowship Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. MaryÃs Health Care Centre or to S.T.A.R.S.
