In loving memory ~
Gail passed away peacefully in her home on January 7, 2023, in Red Deer, Alberta with her loving son Michael, his wife Bev by her side, and of course her beloved cats Tiny and Angel.
Gail was a woman whose legacy shows that commitment to yourself, your dreams, and your goals builds a life rich with devoted loving families, lifelong friends, loving cats and beautiful gardens. Life was never too busy to help others, so Gail passionately volunteered for many years at the Palliative Care Unit at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, and Bibles for Missions, after retiring from her successful secretarial career.
Gail will be greatly missed by her son, Michael Blades (Bev), her grandchildren, Jason Blades, Ryan Blades (Jacklyn) and Melissa (Jon), and her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Elexa and Parker. She will be missed so very much by her sisters, Ella Joy Maybin, Sally Parsons, and Heather Parsons (Doug Sharp), also by her special niece, Sara Sharp, her nephew, MacGregor Sharp (Steffi) and her friends, Viola, Bea, Dianne L. and Dianne A. and many others. Gail was predeceased by her, son Donald Thomas (Tom), her parents, Dr. MacGregor and Helen Parsons, her twin sister, Gilda (Deeda) Parsons, her brother, Bartley Parsons and her brother-in-law, John Maybin.
Gail is now polishing rainbows with her twin, Gilda (Deeda). At Gail's request, there will be a Private Family and Friends Gathering at a future date. Rest in Peace, Mom. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
