GAUTHIER "MAC" Joseph Benjamin Martin Aug 21, 1951 to Dec. 11, 2008 Mac Gauthier of Alix, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital December 11, 2008. Mac was known by his many friends and clients as the managing partner of Accounting and Management Services, based in Alix. Mac was a big man physically, and much bigger in heart and spirit, who gave his all for those who needed him. He will be sadly missed. Mac requested his ashes be interred with the mother-in-law he loved. A memorial service will be held at the Alix Community Hall on Saturday, December 20, at 3:00 pm. Mac was predeceased by his parents, and his first wife, Trish. He had three brothers, Mario, Mark, and Michael, travelers like himself, with whom he lost touch over the years - whereabouts unknown. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene, (nee Mathews) her family, and her extended family, of which he was a part. Rest in Peace.
