Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, George resided in Labrador City throughout most of his childhood years. He is predeceased by his parents, Carl and Agnes; and brother, David. George leaves behind two beautiful children; daughter, Cassie Drover; son, Tyler Drover; brothers, Gary Walsh (Naomi) and Wayne Pomeroy (Debbie Wesley); sisters, Carol-Ann Stacey (Mark) and Gail Butt (Wade). A graveside service will be held in Labrador City at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for George's children at the Bank of Nova Scotia.
