It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald Kail Berday of Red Deer at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton on September 16, 2018 at the age of 61 years.
Gerald left this world the way he lived his life, on his own terms. Gerald was born in Estevan SK to George and Marjorie Berday and was raised on the family farm near North Portal SK, along with his six siblings. He resided in Red Deer for the past 30 years.
Gerald is survived by his sisters Carol, Lynn, Elaine and Leah; brothers Tim and Duane as well as nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Daniel has lost his Uncle and friend.
Gerald leaves us with many fond memories and will be missed. In following with Gerald's wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Spinal Cord Injury Alberta, 400, 11010 - 101 St., Edmonton AB T5H 4B9.
