Mr. Gerald Dennis ‘Jerry’ Litz passed away peacefully, following a hard-fought battle with cancer, at Innisfail, Alberta on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Jerry was born on January 30, 1941 at Calgary, Alberta, to loving parents who soon moved the family to a farm near Wimborne, Alberta and later to Red Deer, Alberta. Following retirement, Jerry and Phyllis moved to Innisfail, Albera; where he would spend the final years of his life. Jerry’s family and friends remember him as a kind and giving soul, a father figure to many, and dearly loved by all he met. From a young age, Jerry demonstrated a talent and love for music. He played with numerous bands across the decades: most notably, locally-famous group “The Dots”.
