BUTCHER, Geraldine (Jerry)
Geraldine (Jerry) Butcher passed peacefully December 11, 2017 at 82. She was famously known to have been 21 for the past 61 years. She is predeceased by her brother Dennis Waters and her sister Evelyn Hieman.
Jerry is survived by her husband of 61 years Tom Butcher, brother Wayne Waters and sister, Jackie Drinnan. Tom and Jerry have four children: Kerry (Marg) Butcher, Barb Butcher, Vivian Armstrong, Gail (Maynard) Bukva; eight grandchildren: Don, Valerie, Robina, Amanda, Stephanie, Jennifer, Scott and Nathaniel. They also have eight great-grandchildren: Faith, Nicholas, Terry, Samantha, Carmendy, Maddie, Roger and Braxton.
Jerry spent many happy hours creating her doilies and special quilts and made sure they were distributed with love. Her homemade buns were a hit at many family gatherings.
A memorial tea will be held on Friday, Dec 15 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lacombe Memorial Centre. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society 393 University Avenue, Suite 1700 Toronto, ON M5G 1E6.
