George Wiebe of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at Bethany CollegeSide on August 3, 2017 at the age of 88 years. George is survived by his son Don (Carol), daughter Geri Sonnenberg (Ken), six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and was predeceased by his daughter Susan Gillrie. He was a hard worker, an awesome finish carpenter and could build a house from the ground up. He had a big heart - getting together with family and friends, music, playing the guitar, cooking, camping and partying were some of the things he loved to do! A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Heartland Funeral Home, 4415 - 49 Street, Innisfail, Alberta. Interment to follow at the Innisfail Cemetery.
