Gladys Eckenswiller (Strand)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gladys Eckenswiller (Strand) who went home to be with Jesus Thursday June 16, 2022, at the age of 85 years.
Gladys was a loving mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Auntie and friend, Gladys leaves to mourn her passing her children, Cindy Cornale, Christine (Keith Veres) Eckenswiller, Rhonda (Ken) Vick, Mike (Marnie) Eckenswiller and Tracey (Ryan) Graham, along with 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, special friend Arthur Musiko, sister Clara (Roy) Mitchell and brother Bob (Neva) Strand, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by the father of her children Mike Eckenswiller, her parents, George and Louise Strand, sisters Ruth Munro and Ila Steeves, brothers Don and Elvin Strand.
The Family is sincerely grateful to the staff at Michener Extendicare for their care in Mom's last years.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at CrossRoads Church, viewing at 10a.m with Service, reception and burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice, or a random act of kindness done in her honour.
