HUNTER, GLENN LESLIE Mr. Glenn Leslie Hunter passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the age of 86 years in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Elsie of 64 years, daughter Linda (Ross) Fletcher, son Douglas (Diane) Hunter, grandsons Chris (Kate) Fletcher, Bryce (Shannon) Fletcher, Todd (Karen) Fletcher, Robyn (Alyson) Hunter and great grandsons Ethan and Ty Fletcher, brother Herbert (Annie) Hunter, sister Kathleen (Stu) Lindop, and sister-in-law Arlene Felstrom as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Charles and brother-in-law Rev. Harold Felstrom. Glenn was born on the homestead near Bashaw, the third son of Edwin and Era Hunter. Glenn loved farming and raising Aberdeen cattle, a lifestyle he shared so well with Elsie. Many meals or coffee visits were shared around the table with neighbors, family and friends. They spent many winters in Arizona, and enjoyed traveling to other countries. Active in sports, particularly baseball in the early years, he continued to enjoy and watch sports. He was active in the Bashaw Seed Cleaning Plant, various church committees' and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Glenn's Life at the Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Andrew Burnand officiating.
