SMART Gloria Donna Smart of Red Deer went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on December 17th, 2007 at the age of 77 years, with her family by her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 56 years Robert Charles Smart and her five children; Brian (Thelma), Jim (Elaine), Debra (Art) Cook, Gary (Donna), Donna (Colin) Plamondon; sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Gloria has spent the last ten years in Red Deer, AB, but most of her life was spent in the lower mainland of British Columbia. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Olga Halvorson. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Gloria's Life will be held at the Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 – 39 Street, Red Deer, AB, on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 4811 – 48 Avenue, Red Deer, AB T4N 3T2.
