GOLDEN Mr. Casey Golden of Red Deer went home to his heavenly father on August 1, 2007 at 101 years of age. Casey was born on January 21st 1906 to Anton (Maria) Golembczski in Beausejour, Manitoba. After his schooling, he trained as a denturist in Winnipeg, later moving to Calgary where he met and married Eveleen Hunter in 1931. In 1932 they moved to Red Deer where he owned and operated the Red Deer Dental Lab until his retirement in 1974. Casey was predeceased by his loving wife, Eveleen, in 1975 and brothers, Henry Harris and Leon Harris; sisters, Rose (Robert) Armstrong and Jean (Frank) Pratt; grandson, William Golden; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Golden. Casey leaves to mourn his passing his brother, Dr. Ted (Anne) Harris, of Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Dora Harris of Edinburgh, Scotland; sons Robert Golden of Edmonton, AB and Gerald (Mary) Golden of Edmonton, AB; daughter-in-law, Doreen Golden of St. Albert, AB, and daughter, Carol Golden of Red Deer, AB. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A celebration of Casey’s life will be held at Living Stones Church, 2020 – 40 Ave., Red Deer, AB at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th, 2007 with Dr. Paul Vallee officiating.
