FLAMAN, Gordon
May 22, 1936 - Feb. 14, 2017
Gordon was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and came to Red Deer in 1958. Gordon was an active hockey player, golfer, and sportsman. He was a firefighter from 1959 to 1994.
Gordon was predeceased by his mother and father, brothers Barnie and Fern Flaman, and sisters Helen and Bertha.
Gordon is survived by his wife Robbie (Roberta); son Chris Flaman-Haley; daughter Leslie; sons Jason and Dennis Tomiuk; seven grand-children; and many nieces and nephews. We will all miss him in our lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD Foundation.
Gord passed away peacefully at Points West Nursing Home where he wanted to be.
At Gordon's request, no funeral will be held. Cremation took place in Red Deer. A Celebration of Gord's life will take place in June.
