The family of Gordon Gross are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on June 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Gordon was born in Hanna, Alberta and lived in Red Deer for most of his life. He was a hardworking, quick-witted man with a heart of gold who spent most of his life taking care of others, his greatest joy was visiting with his family and friends. With Gordon’s strong will, strength and determination – and the support of Dr. Colin Holmes, RDRHC Dialysis unit, and the staff/friends at Villa Marie LTC2 – he was able to overcome many health concerns in the last few years. The exceptional care that was provided to Gordon allowed the opportunity for more years and shared memories together.
Gordon will be laid to rest with his wife Brenda and son David, he was also predeceased by his parents Emil and Marie, brother Walter, and son-in-law Mark Berlinguette. Left to mourn is his sister-in-law Jeanette, son Dougie, daughters Sherry (Mario-Aaron, Camille, Ethan); Trena (Alyssa, Kazimierz); Debbie (Amy/Justin, Kaylin) & Wendy (Colin/Taylor, Mackenzie/Justin, Tim/Tara & family).
