LUND Gordon Daniel It is with great sadness that the Lund family announces the passing of Gordon Daniel Lund, June 8, 2009. Gordon was born March 4, 1927 near Endiang, Alberta. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jessie Lund, two sons and their families; Don and Kelley, Bob and Jennifer, five grandchildren, Peter, Stephen, Ryan and twins, Heather and Darren; one brother, Norman and Bernice Lund of Red Deer, two sister-in-laws, Gert and Les Talbot of Lethbridge and Lorna Teare of Toronto; numerous nephews and nieces. Those who knew Gordon would recall that his great passions in life were his family and his successful business. Gord owned and operated, with his two sons, Red Deer Motors Chev-Olds for 21 years until his retirement in 1990. Over the years he dedicated many hours as an active member of numerous organizations, Kinsmen, K-40, Elks, Rotary to name a few. Funeral services to be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church 4758 Ross St. Red Deer, Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Tributes may be made to the Red Deer Alzheimer Society.
