GORMLEY Mrs. Constance Vera ‘Connie’ Gormley, beloved wife of Mr. Jim Gormley of Red Deer, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the age of 51 years. Connie was born on August 7, 1953 at Vernon, British Columbia. She was a loving, kind and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family with all her heart. Connie especially loved to make “family phone calls” and would spend many happy hours visiting with her children and other family members over the telephone. She was very proud to be working with her daughter, Maisie with her acting and music. Connie also enjoyed volunteering with The Third Academy School. Connie was a very faithful and devoted Christian and she was very active in her church. Connie will be very deeply and sadly missed but she will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Connie leaves to mourn her loss, her step-daughters, Deanna (Mike) Millions of Fort St. John, British Columbia, Darlene (Jason) Derksen of Lethbridge, Alberta, her daughter, Maisie Gormley of Red Deer, her grandchildren, Michael John Millions, Byron Millions, Dallas Gormley, Dakota Gormley and Bethany Derksen. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Doug (Elaine) Bell of Calgary, Alberta, as well as numerous other family members and many dear friends. Connie was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Pat and her step-son, Doug. Relatives and friends are invited to come and pay their respects one hour prior to the Life Celebration. A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church, 4837 – 54th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Connie’s honour may be made directly to the C.C.F.C.
