Grace Carson

Mrs. Grace Lillian Carson of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at Points West Living, Red Deer, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Grace was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on November 18, 1933 to parents, Gertrude and Thomas Rigby. After graduating High School, Grace went to St. Anthony's School of Nursing at The Pas, Manitoba and was the only nurse in her class.
While working at the University of Alberta Hospital, she met the love of her life, Earl Carson, and they were later married on November 17, 1956. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-eight years, Earl Carson, her son, Douglas (Patti) Carson, her daughters, Ann and Dawn Carson, her five grandchildren and her two great grandchildren.
She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Donna Walker and Jackie Finnie. Grace was predeceased by her parents, her grandmother and a brother.
A Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
