Grace Viola Ellsworth quietly passed away with her loving family by her side on May 27, 2018 at the age of 98 years, at High River, Alberta. Grace was born on August 23, 1919 in Bentley, Alberta. She resided in Bentley and Red Deer most of her life.

She worked at Michener Centre in Red Deer, Alberta as a Caregiver for 22 years. Grace billeted 10 young men from the Red Deer Rustler hockey team. She was a fantastic cook, including her famous cinnamon buns. She loved to crochet and was constantly making doilies and afghans for all members of her family. She won several Red Ribbons for her crocheting at the Bentley Fair and even the Calgary Stampede. Grace had a wonderful green thumb and was very proud of her beautiful crab apple trees and roses. She played hours of a card game called Canasta and quite often went "out" leaving the other players with a mitt full of cards. She always had a pot of Timmy's coffee on. She helped numerous people over the years and was a kind and caring person. Her family meant everything to her. Grace is survived by her sons Roger Allen Ellsworth (Cheryl) and Merle Ray Ellsworth (Pat), her grandchildren Patricia (Kelly), Daniel (Kim), Sheri (Trevor), Cody, Aimee, Jennifer and Michael. She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren Brett, Carson and Ty, Justin, Candace and Josh, Taylor and Madison and Scott.Grace was predeceased by her husband Alfred, Daughter and Son-In-Law Caroline and Allen Morse, Son Donald, Granddaughter Kimberley and Frances Ellsworth as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 12:00 pm. (Highway 11 and Rge. Rd. 270). A Memorial Service to celebrate Grace's life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium (6287-67A Street-Taylor Drive) on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm.To send condolences and view Grace's Tribute Page please visit www.lylereeves.com .
