Graham John

Nov. 26, 1940 - July 6, 2014

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, granddad and brother. Graham is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela; two daughters; Robyn (Scott), Kate (Luke) and grandchildren; Halle, Grayson, Peyton and Jacob; sister, Susan (Terry) and brother, John (Debbie) in England. Born in 1940 in Chepstow, England, Graham immigrated to Canada in 1964 where he met his wife, Pamela. After many years of travel throughout Canada and the USA, they settled in Red Deer, AB where they raised their two daughters. Graham taught sculpture at Red Deer College for 30 years before moving to Calgary where he continued to exhibit his work at numerous exhibitions. He was also an avid clay pigeon shooter for many years in both Red Deer and Carstairs. He will be greatly missed by his family, colleagues, friends and students. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Graham's life will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Inglewood Community Hall (1740 24th Avenue SE, Calgary/ www.icacalgary.com) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
