EDWARDS Grant Wayne Aug. 25, 1955 - July 9, 2009 Grant Wayne Edwards of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at 0700 A.M. at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on July 09, 2009 at the age of 53 following a short struggle with cancer. With sad and heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Grant, at the same time grateful he is no longer suffering. Grant is fondly remembered for his strong, outgoing, tenacious nature, his boisterous sense of humour, his love of the outdoors and sports. Grant was born in August 1955 to Gladys and Gordon Edwards in Almonte, Lanarke County, Ontario. He leaves to cherish his memory; Frances his wife of 22 years, their four children Laura, Matthew, Benjamin and, Carmin; his mother Gladys and brother John; and his mother-in-law Margaret. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Diana (Paul) Crump; Henry (Sonia) Parker; Helen (Doug) Tucker; Cathy (Bob) West; Lynda (Jerry) Mah; and Florence Parker, as well as seven loving nephews and nieces and many, many wonderful friends. His father Gordon Edwards and his father-in-law Jack predeceased Grant. Grant's life celebration and funeral service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home and Crematorium (6150 - 67 Street, Red Deer) on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 1:00 P.M.
