Gustive LUKAT

LUKAT Gustive Lenard Lukat passed away suddenly on his farm on August 18, 2007 at the age of 69. Gus was born at home in Red Cliff, Alberta on November 18, 1936, the only child of Adolf and Matilda Lukat. Gus spent most of his life on the farm here in Alberta. In 1963 he married Ada Schwartz and together they raised five children. Gus loved each of his children and spent his life always involved with all of them. His children then blessed him with grandchildren, and his best times were spent playing tricks on all of them. All of his family have so many happy, wonderful memories of their Papa. He was truly the very best of fathers and grandfathers. Gus leaves to mourn his mother Matilda, partner and life long friend Ada; daughter Joanne, grandchildren Kane of Sylvan Lake, Guy (Shauna) of Red Deer, Lena (Kurt) of Sylvan Lake; son Shawn (Laura), grandchilren Rebecca and Elijah; son Andy of Red Deer; son Jason of rural Lacombe; foster daughter Bambi Clairidge; sister-in-law Carol; aunts, and one uncle, many nieces and nephews, and life long friends. He was predeceased by his father Adolf. Gus will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, 5226-51 Ave, Lacombe, Alberta. Interment to follow in the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery.
