HARASYM, On May 2, 2005, Mrs. Doris Harasym of Red Deer passed away at the age of 78 years. She is survived by 1 son & 2 daughters, Lorne (Amber) of Grande Prairie, Vivian (Roland) Pigeon of Red Deer and Lynne (Jack) Burr of Sherwood Park; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, George (Steffie) Hawiuk of St. Paul, Steve (Andrea) Hawiuk of Bowden, Pearl Babich of Lacombe and Helen Luxford of Kelowna and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Peter on January 25, 2005; 1 daughter, Bertha in 1972, 1 son Kenneth in 2003; her parents, John and Mary Hawiuk; 1 brother, Frank and 4 sisters, Bella, Nancy, Kay and Mary. Funeral Service Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Vilna. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating with interment in St. Paraskevia Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Downing.
