Harley Pipke of Red Deer passed away on August 10, 2018 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn; five children - Sandra (Rick) Bodwell of Red Deer, Katherine Hamilton of Coquitlam, BC, Douglas (Virginia) Pipke of Port Moody, BC, Carol (Dave) Roberts of Red Deer, and Kenneth Pipke (Jocelyn) of Coquitlam, BC - along with 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, special niece Jacquie (Tom) Tirrell of Red Deer, brothers Arnold (Irene) and Paul (Jean) of Red Deer, and sister Verna Banman of Innisfail.
Harley was predeceased by parents Bill and Tillie, brothers Alfred and George, and sisters Isabel Wilkins, Lorene Schneider, and Irene Kline.
A Celebration of Life for Harley will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 am at Living Stones Church, 2020 - 40 Ave, Red Deer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, T4R 3S6. Condolences to Harley's family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
