It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Harvie at the age of 73 years. Harvie will be dearly missed by his 2 older brothers, Gordon (Joanne) of Sundre, AB, and Fred (Heather) of Olds, AB.
Harvie was predeceased by his parents Solomon of Olds, AB and Ruth of Acme, AB; his older sister Cora of Ft. St. John, BC; younger sister Irma of Faro, YT and nephew Rick of Edmonton, AB. Harvie will also be missed by many in his Etana family, but especially Freda, Sheila, and Audrey.
Harvie believed in community and connecting to others through time well spent. He knew many people; and often saw someone to say hi to and chat with. He was well known for his many roles but especially his volunteer roles with the Red Deer Vipers and Sunnybrook Farm.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on Friday, March 10th from 2:00-4:30 pm at The Golden Circle Senior Resource Center, 4620 47 a Ave, Red Deer, AB.
