HAYFORD 1951-2007 Charles Hayford of Red Deer, died at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at the age of 56 years. Charles was born on March 10, 1951 in London, England. He married Anne (Waters) in 1973 and they immigrated to Canada in 1976. Charles was well read and educated in many fields and enjoyed sharing that knowledge with others. He had a deep rooted passion for "stuff": culinary "stuff", mechanical "stuff", electrical "stuff", and he loved to use his many other talents to create more "stuff"…….. Charles was predeceased by his father, Charles William Hayford, in 1960 and his mother, Rebecca Hayford (nee Brocky), in 2001. He is survived and will be truly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Anne, two sons, Marc (Nicole), Lee (Kim), five grandchildren, Drake, Trinity, Teya, Dylan and Nicholas all of Red Deer. Also left to mourn him are his mother-in-law, Eleanor Waters, brother-in-law, Alan (Susan) Waters, sisters-in-law, Barbara (Terry) Smith, June Waters (Richard Tweady), nieces, nephews, many other relatives in England, as well as numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. A toast in Charles' honour will be held at Tom’s Blarney Stone South, 2325 - 50 Avenue #100, Red Deer on Friday June 29, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' honour may be made directly to the Palliative Care Fund, Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation Office, P.O. Bag 5030, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 6R2.
