DENNIS Hazel Beatrice Rosalind Dennis, born June 10, 1916 in Athabasca Alberta, passed away peacefully on Friday June 10, 2005. Hazel moved with her parents to Edmonton where she entered elementary school. From Edmonton the family moved to Pigeon Lake where she met and later married her husband John (Jack) Alfred Dennis in 1935. They raised seven children, living in several different places in British Columbia and Alberta, finally settling in Lacombe in 1974. Hazel was predeceased by her husband John in 1999, two brothers, two sisters and one grandson. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses Fay and Les Dobos, Joan and Ed Robak, Gerald and Muriel Dennis, Roy and Phyllis Dennis, Gary and Val Dennis, Dale and Brenda Dennis, Donald and Laura Dennis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The funeral service is to be held June 15th, 2005, at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, Lacombe at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the recreational department of the Continuing Care Center in the Lacombe Community Health Care Center.
