MAY Hazel We are deeply saddened to announce that Hazel Elizabeth May passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Center with family members by her side on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the age of 91 years. She will be lovingly remembered her daughter Marilyn (Glenn) Chidlow; grandchildren Shannon (Jim) Chidlow-Williams and Trent (Brenda) Chidlow; "special family": Jade and Greg Soetaert, Cheryl and David Coates, Wendy and Bob Rhodes, Jacki Chidlow and Phil Braybrook, Lori Allison and Mark Sadler; her sisters Jean Phippen of Lac Du Bonnett, Manitoba and Doris Foster of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren: Mariya, Kolbin, Wyatt, Harmony, Michayla, Alexis and Danny; and three step-grandchildren: James, Gina and Austin. Hazel was predeceased by her husband Harry (1982), her son Danny (1982), her parents Archibald and Margaret Phippen of Winnipeg, Manitoba and her sisters: Lulu, Nellie, Olive, Ina and Lorraine. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home, 5115 - 50th Avenue, Ponoka.
