HEALEY (Henderson) Aug. 7, 1954 - Jan. 20, 2007 Valerie Healey passed away suddenly and peacefully at Calgary Foothills Hospital on January 20, 2007 at the young age of 52. Valerie was born in Brandon, Manitoba August 7, 1954. Valerie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob Healey, daughters Charlotte and Jacqueline Henderson; grandchildren Jett Henderson and Olivia Allin all of Red Deer. Valerie is also survived by her parents Paul and Mary Felawka, sisters Diana (Paul) Vinet, Gay (Bill) Courtice and numerous nieces and nephews. Valerie moved to Red Deer in 1989 with her family. She immediately began her career at Chapman Riebeek where she continued to work up until her death, she truly loved the people with whom she worked. Throughout her seventeen and one half years in Red Deer Valerie made many friends and touched many lives - she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Valerie enjoyed reading, working her garden, and spending time with family and friends. There will be a service to celebrate Valerie's life at St. Mary's Church, 6 MacMilian Drive, Red Deer Friday, February 2, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the STARS Air Ambulance in her memory.
