Heather Marie Neufeld, a daughter given by the Lord to Thomas and Phyllis (Holland) Marsh, was born at Olds, Alberta on October 31, 1940, and has now gone to be with Jesus, early Saturday morning, May 26, 2012. Today we rejoice in the knowledge that she has completed the journey of time as we know it and is forever at home with her Saviour she faithfully served for 71 years. On August 9, 1957 she was married to Amos William Neufeld. Together, for nearly 55 years, they experienced the changing scenes of life in a loving companionship, which the Lord had entrusted to them. Heather loved flowers of every kind mostly her hanging baskets. She also loved canning with her Mom and family. The greatest love of Mom's life was raising her three children and 55 other children as well. She will continue to live in each one of those she has touched. Heather will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Amos Neufeld of Elnora, her children, Darwin (Barb) Neufeld of Elnora, Deborah (Glenn) Raeburn of Red Deer, Mark (Brenda) Neufeld of Bowden, nine grandchildren, (Porschea, Ty, Dalon (Clarissa), Cody (Yesenia), Meagan, Ryan & Austin, her three great grandchildren, Damiyan, Esmee and Aiden, her foster children, Daisey, Cody, Audrey, Cole, Bradley and Austin, her brothers and sisters: Bobby, Judy, Penny and Bill.
A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held at Zion Evangelical Missionary Church, in Didsbury on June 8, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
