KERBY Helen Margaret May 1916 – September 2009 Helen Margaret Kerby, May 1916 to September 2009, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Friday, September 18. Helen was an integral part of the Pines Lodge family for many years and loved her life there. She lived selflessly and was most often found trying to make everyone's life just a little bit better. Helen was born and raised at Grindrod in the North Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. She was the last remaining sibling of the Dangel family (predeceased by Max, Marie and Frank). Helen is survived by William, her husband of 65 years, her children Bill (Helga), David (Mitzi) and Margaret (Roy). She has always had an active role in the lives of her beloved grand children William, Nathan, Erin (Sebastian), Julie (Ryan), Daniel (Kate), Kristine (Austin), Karen (Andrew), Ken (Erin) and her great grandchildren David, Evan, Anja, Merenna, Eisla, Charlie and Tyler. Also remembered is Helen's special relationship with Trudy Kerby and Neil Honkanen.
