MUNRO Hilda Jean (Faulds) passed away November 5, 2003 in Anaheim, California at the age of 88. Hilda was born April 29, 1915 in Taber, Alberta the oldest of 5 children born to Robert (Cappy) and Hilda Faulds. She finished her schooling in Taber and for several years was a telephone operator for A.G.T. in Taber. On April 10, 1940 she married Kenneth A. Munro of Taber and they moved to Pincher Creek where their two children, Marion and Douglas were born. They moved to Lethbridge and then to Red Deer where they resided from 1955 until 1967. They then moved to Long Beach, California where Ken and Doug went into the furniture business. Hilda leaves her daughter, Marion and her husband Kent Knudsen of Huxley, Alberta and her son Douglas Munro and his wife Mary of Anaheim, California as well as 5 grandsons and their wives, a granddaughter and her husband and 13 great-grandchildren. Hilda was pre-deceased by her husband, Kenneth on November 7, 1992 as well as her parents, brothers Robert, Charles, Ronald and sister Ilean. An interment service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Taber Cemetery. Her children, Marion and Douglas and their families, extend an invitation to family and friends to join us at this graveside service.
