HILLMAN 1969 - 2009 Trevor Michael Hillman of Red Deer passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the age of 39 years. Trevor was born at Drumheller, Alberta on July 1, 1969 and attended school there and worked with his family in their business, Dinny's Gas N Splash, until moving to Red Deer in 1983 where he continued his education. After finishing school, he joined the family business Video View. Later, with his brother, sisters and wife, Trevor started VHQ Entertainment and together, they saw the chain of stores grow to 62 throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and the North West Territories. Most recently, he was instrumental in developing Parkland Energy from a private to a public company. Though Trevor was a well respected business man and enjoyed what he did, the most important part of his life were his two daughters Ashlee and Melissa. He loved them both very deeply and to Trevor, they were his world. Trevor will be fondly remembered by his two daughters Ashlee and Melissa both of Red Deer; their mother Sherrie Hillman of Red Deer; his parents Gordon and Joanne Hillman of Red Deer; one brother Tim and his daughter Emily of Red Deer; two sisters Tari (Rollie) Gervais and their children Shannon, Lindsay and Megan of Red Deer, Tracy (Jeff) Barker and their children Brittany, Christopher and Matthew of Red Deer and his grandmother Violet Wachter (Hillman) of Red Deer. Also left to cherish the fond memory of Trevor are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and the many friends he made. Trevor was predeceased by his favorite uncle and aunt Frank & Jo Hillman and his Grandma and Grandpa Llewellyn. A Funeral Service will be held at the Living Stones Church, 2020 - 40 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm.
