1918-2022 ~ Mrs. Hope Haverstock, (nee Smith) formerly of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at Rosefield Care Centre on May 2, 2022.
Hope was very active with volunteer work for many years at Dr. Richard Parsons Hospital, Guild work at St. Leonard’s Church, and her years as a director with the Memorial Society.
She loved her curling, skiing, skating and golf.
Hope is survived by her daughter, Patricia Hannah of Winnipeg, Manitoba, her son, Charles (Diana) Haverstock of Red Deer, Alberta as well as four grandchildren: Susan, Chris, Stephen and Anne, eight great grandchildren: Hayley, Tayden, Valissa, Jesse, Justice, Delta, Francis and Charlie, and three great great grandchildren: Kowyn, Lyla and Zoe as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Hope was predeceased by her loving husband Hal Haverstock April 12, 2002, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex B. Smith, three brothers, Ernest, Alex, Bill, and one sister, Marjorie Watson and her son in law, John Hannah.
The family of Hope would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at the Rosefield Care Centre for their heartfelt care.
