HUDEMA, 1940 - 2006 Joan Leona Hudema, beloved wife of Ken Croswell of Red Deer, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the age of 66 years. Joan was born on September 24, 1940 at Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Joan was a very loving and gracious lady who had a heart of gold. She was a very warm and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who was very devoted to her family and loved them dearly. Joan will be very sadly missed but lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and dear friends. Joan leaves to mourn her loss, her loving husband of eighteen years, Ken Croswell, daughter, Roxy, son, Dean (Dana), stepson, Darren (Val) Croswell, stepdaughter, Kelly, her grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, Brandon (Krys), Jenna, Jillian, Meaghen, Mark and Kiera and her great granddaughter, Harmony. She will also be sadly missed by three sisters and two brothers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Alice Rourke, a brother, Willie and a sister, Laura. A Public Celebration of Joan's Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Garden of Christus at the Alto-Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
