It is with hearts full of treasured memories that we announce the passing of Hughie Blish on February 13, 2014, at the age of 80. Hughie will be forever missed by his loving family; special friend Lisa, three daughters, Brenda(Jim), Bev, Bonny (Chris): three sons Hugh(Kathy) Ted (Sonya), Bradley (Jackie); 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, niece Sherry, nephew John, and other relatives and friends. Hughie was predeceased by Joyce Blish, an infant son Billy, his parents Gene and Sylvia Blish, and 3 brothers; Gene, Norman and Clifford. Thank-you to the dedicated staff of the Red Deer Hospice for the wonderful care. A Life Celebration Service will be held at the Bentley Community Church Wednesday February 19 at 1pm. Interment will follow in the Bentley Cemetery.
