Ian Ramsay Henderson of Tsawwassen, BC, age 79, passed away Thursday August 30 surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on April 23, 1939 to John and Jane Henderson in Drumheller, Alberta. The Big E will be remembered as a gentleman for his love of family, the company of his many friends and his leadership in the most difficult of times. His generosity, grace and natural delivery of the right things at the right times never ceased to amaze.
Ian is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Myrna Henderson (nee Curry), his 3 sons; Dale (Darlene), Doug (Nancy), and Brian (Jill) and his six grandchildren; Kendall, Kamryn, Brooke, Kyle, Zoe and Avery.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Jean. A celebration will be held on Saturday October 6th in Tsawwassen, BC. Donations can be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic through the VGH Foundation. http://vghfoundation.ca/
