BYSTROM Ida Ida passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the age of 89 years. She was born to Sandy and Ellen Smith on June 6, 1920 and raised in the Sylvan lake Area. Ida is survived and sadly missed by her 3 daughters Marjorie (Lee) Patjas of Kelowna, B.C., Gladys (Ed) Bolton of Rocky Mountain House and Gloria Vander Leek of Red Deer, and daughter-in-law Kay Bystrom of Benalto. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Sandy and Ellen Smith, her husband Leonard, one son Lloyd, son-in-law Casey Vander Leek and her only brother Franklin Smith. She also leaves to mourn her 5 sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews and many close friends. A Private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 11:00 A.M. The Memorial Service will be held at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Sylvan Lake on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 1:30 P.M.
