HOLSTEIN Ida Holstein, of Medicine Hat, age 87 years, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her family on August 27, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Marion (Fred) Hoffman of Medicine Hat and Gladys (Donald) Perry of Red Deer and a daughter-in-law Betty Holstein of Leader; seven grandchildren Glenda (Stephen) Hawthorne, Lorna (Jamie) Weatherhead, Kevin Holstein, Leanne Fraser, Patti Holstein, Ashley Perry and Chelsey Perry; one great granddaughter Kaitlyn Weatherhead. She was predeceased by her husband Sam on April 15, 1988, son Fred Holstein, August 9, 2004, and her daughter-in-law Lorene in July of 1997. The funeral service will be held in Medicine Hat Alliance Church, (1340 22nd. Street SE), on Monday, August 30, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Roset officiating.
