Irene BAYFORD

BAYFORD Irene Mildred Bayford passed away suddenly at her home February 27, at eighty-six years of age. She moved to Alberta from Manitoba with her husband Clifford Robinson and her son Derwin in the 1940's to farm in the Shadynook area. In the 1960's she moved to Red Deer with her family. In 1967 Clifford passed away and Irene went to work at the Michener Centre to support her children. She remarried in 1974 to Frank Bayford who was also from the Shadynook district. Irene maintained life-long friendships with the farming community as well as new friends from town. She leaves behind, her daughter Faye Robinson, her three grandchildren, James, Suzanne and Michelle Cavers, her sisters Lena and Violet and her sister-in-law Francis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral will take place Monday, March 5, 2007. There will be a graveside service at the Red Deer Cemetery at 11:30 with a memorial service at the Red Deer Legion at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
