Irene Edith McPhee (nee Hobson) of Red Deer passed away March 08, 2019 at the age of 77 in the Red Deer Hospital, after a lifelong battle with Lupas. Her three children son, Kevin Emmerling, daughter, Faith Ellert and son, Michael Emmerling wish to share their mothers last words of wisdom - "Remember me with smiles and laughter, as I will remember you. If you remember me with tears don't remember me at all."
Irene will be fondly remembered in her strength of courage by her three siblings: Keith Hobson, Dennis Hobson and Mary Bressler. She loved her grandsons, granddaughters, great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her very good friend Ernie McPhee. Irene carried a torch for many charities and was always a kind friend to anyone needing a shoulder.
