It is with Great sorrow that the family of Irene M. Pfaff of Red Deer, AB announces her passing on Tuesday May 14th, 2019 at the age of 91.
She was born in Medicine Hat AB and raised in Vauxhall farming community. Irene will forever be cherished by her children James (Linda) Pfaff of Whitecourt AB, Wayne (Darlene) Pfaff of Durham ON, Debbie (Len) Pfaff of Delburne AB; Grandchildren Cindy (Jeff ) Brooks, Ryan (Christa) Pfaff, Cameron (Angela) Pfaff, Shannon Pfaff, Melissa (Tanner) Guyett, Crystal Maria Pfaff; Great Grandchildren Brittany Brooks, Brett Brooks, Deone Pfaff, Megan James, Ava Pfaff; as well as siblings, nieces and nephews.
Irene is predeceased by Parents Elmar and Agnes Mickelberry; her husband of 61 years, John Andrew Pfaff; son Larry Pfaff; daughter in law Linda Pfaff, grandson Kelly Pfaff; Siblings Norman Mickelberry, Bud Mickelberry, Jim Mickelberry, and Betty Chambers.
Irene was a kind, caring, gardener, traveler, and above all a role model, she had a profound impact in our family. Irene was treasured beyond measure and will always remain in the hearts and minds of her family and friends
A memorial celebration service will be held Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at 11 am Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150-67th Street, Red Deer. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Cancer Foundation, #710-10123, 99th St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1.
